The unseen heroes of our team who organise hospital runs and contact the on-call riders. They liaise with hospitals and riders/drivers, are quick thinking at 3am in the morning and are able to keep calm under pressure. If you have a confident telephone manner and you think you can help, please get in touch.

As a Highland & Islands Blood Bike rider, someone may be reliant on a product you are transporting, therefore professionalism and safety is hugely important. To ride our bikes you must be over 25 (for insurance purposes) and hold a current advanced riding qualification. You must have no more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence (inclusive of any pending convictions or fixed penalties) and will be required to sit an assessment ride with us before becoming part of our team.

HAIBB relies on charitable donations to carry out its work. We are always looking for ways to raise funds in order to keep providing our vital services. If you have experience in fund-raising or charitable work and would like to give your time (no matter how little) to our great cause, we would be delighted to hear from you.

If you’d like to support HAIBB through sponsorship, please contact us for more information.
